Who is Acemind Academy?
Acemind Academy is a tuition academy for school students from LKG to Class 12. We teach across five boards — CBSE, ICSE, Kerala State, IB and IGCSE — and have taught 500+ students with a team of 20+ teachers.
Most of our tuition is one-to-one and live online, so students anywhere in Kerala, or abroad, get a teacher’s full attention for the whole class. Small-group online classes are also available. At our centre in Angamaly we also run in-person tuition for Plus One and Plus Two students in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, for CBSE and Kerala State.
Our approach is simple: the right teacher for each student, and parents who can see what happened in every online class.
How do we choose and support our teachers?
We do not publish teacher names, photos or profiles. Teachers are known to families by first name only, which protects students and teachers alike. What we can share is how we work with them:
Review
Every teacher who signs up is reviewed by our team, and we talk to them about the subjects, boards and classes they teach.
Match
Our team matches each student to a teacher by subject, board, class and timing. There is no public teacher list to pick from.
A first class as a check
Every family starts with a free 45-minute session, so the match is tested before regular classes begin.
Ongoing oversight
Online classes are recorded with consent and every class summary is reviewed by our team. Families can ask for a different teacher at any time.
How does a class work?
Every online Acemind class, from LKG to Plus Two, follows the same steps:
Free 45-minute session
Tell us the class, board and subjects. We assign a suitable teacher and run a free one-to-one session.
Plan and fees
We confirm the teacher, build a study plan and share fees personalised to your child.
Live online classes
Classes run one-to-one, or in a small group, on online class links scheduled and managed by Acemind. Students join from their panel on the day.
Recorded with consent
Classes are recorded and transcribed with consent — from a parent or guardian for students under 18.
Summary to parents
A written summary of what was taught, where the student struggled and what to prepare next is reviewed by our team and shared in the parent portal.
How do we keep students safe and their data private?
- Monitored chatMessages between students and teachers are monitored by our team. Messages containing phone numbers, email addresses or WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram links are held for review.
- First names onlyTeachers and students see each other’s first name only, and teacher names and photos never appear on our website.
- Files checked firstFiles shared in a class chat are approved by our team before they can be opened.
- A view-only parent portalParents see every online class and summary for their child, without needing to be in the class.
- Consent firstRecording, transcription and monitored chat are agreed to at sign-up — by a parent or guardian for students under 18.
