What does SSLC online tuition with Acemind cover?

For most Kerala students SSLC is the first public examination they sit, and it draws on everything taught across Class 10 under the State syllabus. Our classes are built on the SCERT textbooks, chapter by chapter, so the lesson your child gets from us lines up with what the school is teaching that week rather than with a course written for some other board.

Families looking for online tuition for Class 10 on the State syllabus usually arrive with one or two subjects that feel shaky. Mathematics and Physics are the common starting points, yet Chemistry, Biology, Social Science and the language papers are handled in exactly the same way: a teacher who knows that subject, and a pace set by how quickly your child is really following.

  • Mathematics — textbook problems worked step by step, then the question patterns that keep returning in exams
  • Physics, Chemistry and Biology — the idea first, then the diagrams, equations and short-answer wording examiners look for
  • Social Science — long chapters broken into maps, timelines and short revision notes
  • English, Hindi and Malayalam — reading, grammar and structured writing, practised aloud and on paper

Can my child learn SSLC subjects in Malayalam medium?

Yes. SCERT publishes the Class 10 textbooks in Malayalam medium as well as English medium, and we teach both. A Malayalam-medium student hears the same Malayalam terms that appear in their own book, so nothing has to be translated twice — once in class and again in the exam hall.

Plenty of English-medium students also prefer to have a difficult idea explained in Malayalam first and then restated in the English terms they will write in their answers. During the free session, tell us which way your child learns best; the teacher simply follows that choice.

Why does one-to-one tuition help in the SSLC year?

The Class 10 year mixes continuous evaluation in school with the public exam at the end. A chapter your child did not grasp in the first term never quietly disappears: it reappears in revision, in model exams and in the final paper. With one-to-one tuition the teacher can stay on that chapter for as long as it needs, instead of moving on because the rest of a class is ready.

It works the other way too. When your child is already confident in a topic, the class moves briskly, and the time saved goes into previous years’ SSLC questions, timed answers, and learning to use the cool-off time at the start of each paper to read every question carefully before writing.

One-to-one is our main format for SSLC, but it is not the only way to study with us. A child who enjoys working alongside classmates can join a small-group online class instead — mention it when you book, and we will tell you what is available for their subjects and medium.

What will I see as a parent after each class?

A written summary arrives after every class. It records the chapter covered, the questions your child attempted, the exact step where they got stuck and how the teacher put it right, plus what to prepare before the next class. Our team reads each summary before it is shared with you, and earlier classes stay listed in the parent portal so you can look back over the whole term.

For an SSLC parent the benefit is practical: you can see whether the weak subject is genuinely getting attention, week after week, without having to cross-examine a tired fifteen-year-old at dinner.

Is there SSLC tuition near me, or only online?

Our SSLC classes are online. If you searched for “10th tuition near me”, the honest answer is that the class reaches your child’s phone or laptop wherever you live, from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram, and it works just as well for families abroad who follow the Kerala syllabus.

Our Angamaly centre runs offline classes for Plus One and Plus Two Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics only, so every Class 10 student is taught in a live online class. A steady internet connection and a quiet corner at home are enough to begin.
