Which streams and subjects do you teach in Class 11 and 12?

We teach the core subjects of both main CBSE streams. Science students can take Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology; Commerce students can take Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and either Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. English Core is available whatever your stream.

Each subject is matched on its own, so a PCM student might learn Physics with one teacher and Mathematics with another, each concentrating on that subject’s Class 11 or Class 12 syllabus. You can take one subject or your whole combination, one-to-one or — if you prefer studying with others — in a small group.

Why is the jump from Class 10 to Class 11 so steep?

Class 11 packs several new ways of thinking into one year. Mathematics brings in sets, functions, trigonometric functions and the first ideas of calculus. Physics relies on vectors and graphs almost from the start. Chemistry opens up organic chemistry with its own vocabulary, and Accountancy begins from journal entries and ledgers that have no Class 10 equivalent.

Class 11 exams are set by your school, but Class 12 assumes everything in them, and entrance-exam syllabuses draw on both years. That is why we treat Class 11 as seriously as the board year rather than as a breather between two board exams.

How are CBSE Class 12 board marks split?

In Physics, Chemistry and Biology the written board paper is worth 70 marks and practical work 30. Mathematics, Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics typically carry 80 marks for theory and 20 for internal assessment or a project. Class 12 results also matter for college admissions, so both parts deserve attention.

Lessons are planned around that structure: concept teaching and NCERT exercises first, then NCERT Exemplar and CBSE sample-paper questions, then timed practice once the syllabus is covered. For practical subjects, teachers help you understand the experiments, the readings and the viva-style questions examiners ask; the lab work itself happens at school.

Do you prepare students for JEE, NEET or CUET?

Our classes are built around the CBSE Class 11 and 12 syllabus. Entrance exams such as JEE Main, NEET and CUET draw heavily on the same NCERT content, so students with those plans can ask their teacher for harder problems and deeper treatment of the chapters the exams share with the board.

What we don’t do is promise entrance ranks or scores. A thorough board-level understanding is a sensible base for any entrance exam, and building that base is where we put our effort.

Can Class 11 and 12 students attend classes at the Angamaly centre?

Yes, for three subjects. If you are in Plus One or Plus Two and study Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics under CBSE or the Kerala State board, you can attend offline classes at our centre near St. Antony’s Chapel, Kokkunnu, in Angamaly.

Every other subject — Biology, the Commerce subjects and English included — is taught in live online classes, one-to-one or in a small group, wherever the student lives. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are available online too, for students who cannot travel to Angamaly.

For online classes, parents also get a written class summary, checked by our team before it appears in the parent portal, setting out what was taught, which problems were tackled and the preparation set for next time.
